I’m very excited to return to my home city and childhood church (where I first played the organ) to give a recital at the American Guild of Organists Regional Convention! The program will feature some of my very favorite pieces, and I can’t wait to show the attendees some of the beautiful color of the Roosevelt organ. Bryan will perform a feature concert as part of the 2019 Southwest Regional Convention of the American Guild of Organists. Last week, I suddenly became caught up composing and finished two new anthems for solo soprano and choir. This completes the set I began earlier in the year. They include beautiful texts from Hildegard von Bingen and Mechthild of Magdeburg as well as a setting of The Beatitudes. I’m excited to release these three new pieces and I hope you’ll reach out if you’d like to perform them! Three Motets, as they’re called, can be found on the compositions page with a score preview.

The first of a few new recordings are now posted on the recordings page. These videos are from my recent recital in Seattle and include tracks of Mendelssohn and Schumann. I hope you enjoy and look for more videos coming soon!

I’m looking forward to returning to Seattle to play a recital at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral on Sunday. The program features German composers which will help demonstrate the beautiful colors of the Flentrop organ. Before the recital, at 9:30pm, the Cathedral offers the service of Compline. St. Marks’ Compline is one of the most special services around and will make for a restful, rejuvenating end to the weekend. I hope you’ll join us!
