One week from today, on November 21, I’ll be playing for the dedication of the new organ at Bryn Athyn Cathedral, where I serve as Assistant Organist. The concert will be presented as a special service, with preludes (the concert) beginning at 7pm. The service portion begins at 7:30pm. I will be performing Franck’s 2nd Choral in b minor as the first prelude, then Peter Conte, organist at Macy’s, Longwood Gardens and St. Clement’s Church, will present the rest of the concert. The Bryn Ahyn Cathedral Choir (Graham Bier, Dir.), Terry Schnarr, Principal Organist, and Fred Haas will also perform. These great musicians will be presenting works of Sowerby, Bairstow and Elgar, among others. Doors open at 6:40pm; this concert is free and open to the public. Details can be found here.
I hope you’ll join us for this exciting event!
