My colleagues and I are gearing up for a studio recital on the wonderful organ at First Presbyterian. We’re excited to show you some of what we’ve been working on, and hope you’ll join us for an evening of great music!
- Wednesday, 3 February 2016, 7:00pm; First Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, PA. Students of Alan Morrison at the Curtis Institute will present a studio concert showcasing some of their recent work. The program includes works of Vierne, Elgar, Duruflé, Reger, Hancock and Messiaen, and takes advantage the breadth of color on the organ at First Presbyterian. This 1.5-hour performance is sure to inspire and bring a fresh approach to significant organ works of the twentieth century. Details can be found here.
