I am excited to announce that my updated biography is now available on the About Bryan page! As I finished this new biography, I realized that I had not publicly and officially (on this website) thanked all those who made my time at Interlochen Arts Academy a great one. My years at the Academy were fantastic – greater than I could’ve ever predicted. This is due, I think, to the brilliant and friendly people at Interlochen who have been my teachers and friends: faculty, staff and students alike. They propelled me forward artistically and personally and for that, I am eternally grateful. I had tons of fun in organ, piano and academics, as I thought I would, but I would not have thought that some of my fondest memories of my time at Interlochen are also of dance classes, jazz improvisation, dance and choral accompanying, weekend breakfast and tea time with friends and discussing Beethoven quartets at The Flap Jack Shack. All of these great experiences and more were possible because of the great people surrounding me. Mr. Bara and Mr. Larson were (and continue to be) fantastic teachers – the best I could ask for – who supported me in my endeavors (musical and non-musical) and pushed me to new heights. It has been a true pleasure and I hope to stay connected and continue to learn from Interlochen and its people.
